Nice clean Inn for the price, quiet and got great sleep. Staff was friendly. The vending machine does not work, so make sure you bring your own drinks if you do not like tap water. It had a great view of the river and free wifi that worked well.

Nothing "fancy" but great price, has everything you need including a frig & microwave, nicely remodeled, well taken care of, comfortable and clean. Nice staff. Park right in front of your room. Lots of restaurants near by. Don't let the RR tracks scare you off - don't know the schedules but we were there 3 days and never heard one. Great stay, would definitely stay again.

Exceptionally clean room. Had very good amenities, nice size TV, small dorm room refrigerator and microwave and very comfortable bed. HVAC was very efficient. Front desk personnel was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The video depicts my only problem. But it's not really problem because it was my fault. I was backing in to my spot and pulled too far forward and got stuck in the drain ditch. The front desk personnel even helped to try and get me out but ultimately had to call a tow truck.

Rooms are small - cozy; maid service is outstanding, as is the front desk. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The coziness brings you together as a couple. This was a great stopping point in our travels we stayed 3day/ 2nights. Motel has charm

We just stayed here for 3 nights dropping our daughter off at WCU. If you set your expectations accordingly, the place is great. Basically, it's a VERY clean place to lay your head, but there are no amenities. This is a MO-tel where you access each room from the outside and park outside each room. There's a creek in back of the property, not even 15 feet from your back window. It's fun to give a little quick foot wade if it hasn't rained and the current is weaker. There's a little picnic area over that. We only had one small issue - the WiFi is very spotty and weak, close to nonexistent. And if you have AT&T, you're basically in a one- bar hole, so we were basically unplugged when we were on property. But really, for $90 a night, you can't beat it.

Just a decent old style motel. Nothing fancy but clean.

First, if you must have all those extra amenities and fancy décor that you find at chain hotels, this is not the place for you. But if you want a good clean room with everything you really need at a good price and that is close to downtown Sylva, then this is a great place. This is a basic old roadside motel that shows its age from the outside. But the rooms have been renovated over the years and everything was very clean. The floors are tile even in the bedroom area, which means you know its clean, unlike the carpets in some of those fancy hotels. The bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets that were again, clean! Everything in the room worked and the bathroom, while a bit snug, was very functional and clean. The motel backs up to a small creek and the back window opens to let you hear the water running. It is owned by a very nice Indian man who worked with us on a non-standard check in time. The motel is within walking distance of downtown Sylva (about a block away). We enjoyed our stay so much we went ahead and booked a room for next month during WCU Homecoming.

Terrific place to stay in Sylva. Clean comfortable rooms, river view, right at the edge of downtown so it's quiet but very easy to walk to town. Great value, will definitely stay here again.
